Meeting Kathryn Stockett

Have you read the book, "The Help"? If you haven't, go and get yourself a copy right now! Hands down, one of the best books I have read in a very long time!! Just as I did, you will fall in love with the characters; Skeeter, Abilene, Minnie and so many more! Keep your eye out for the upcoming movie they are making out of this most excellent book! In the meantime, Brandie and I had the opportunity to attend the book signing that Denver's Tattered Cover was hosting for thee, Kathryn Stockett...author of "The Help". We enjoyed dinner in Denver and then listened to Ms. Stockett read a few excerpts from her book. All before standing in line, taking some cheesy pictures and then having Ms. Stockett sign our books while ANOTHER FAN talked to her the entire time! Buzz kill? Kinda! Still fun?...you bet!! :o)
