Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to our friends and family and Happy Birthday to our Blog! Hard to believe it's 2010 and that our Blog is 1 year old! Feel free to break out the "Happy Birthday" lyrics if you dare! Well, once again we made our annual trek to Estes Park and the YMCA for New Years. We were trying to figure out how long we've been doing it and our best "guesstimate" was 13 years...give or take! This was Kate's first year with us and it gave me a little glimpse of what it will be like in the years to come. I can picture them in the other bedroom building forts in the bunk beds and all of us just making some great family memories. I think all of us enjoyed the luxury of no telephones, no computers, no television, etc. In fact, we didn't even break out the portable DVD player; though tempting! I imagine the kids enjoyed some Mommy and Daddy time without any distractions. I know we sure did! Enjoy the pictures below!
