Ever since my Mom moved to Colorado, I have wanted to bring her to Grand Lake. There is a part of it that reminds me of Minnesota and where I grew up. This small resort town is on a lake and with the mountains as a backdrop, it's drop dead gorgeous. The perfect combination of Colorado and Minnesota! After finding a super great online deal, we booked a room and headed to the mountains for the weekend. With school right around the corner, it ended up being our last fun event of the summer. Kate spent some alone time with Daddy while we packed up Ryan and traveled to this very beautiful mountain getaway! Here are just a few pics of our weekend!
