This has been a year of "firsts" for us! Ryan entering preschool, Ryan starting Sunday School, Kate's first with all the holidays, Kate's first birthday and now Ryan's first time attending Vacation Bible School. Back in the spring, we made arrangements to have Ryan's cousin Easton join us for the week so that the two could go together. Hard to believe the week is here. These two boys did such an awesome job and let me tell you, VBS completely wore out our three and five year olds. I picked them up on the first day all prepared to head to the pool and after looking at them, we headed home for some rest/quiet time. They were beat but they had a blast! We had quiet afternoons ALL week which was fine with this "Mom of Three"! Kate really enjoyed some Mommy and Me time in the mornings and LOVED all the commotion that another boy brought to our house! Oh, and...these 2 boys darn near ate me out of house and home! WOW! Those were some healthy appetites! We loved having Easton here for a week and we hope to make this a yearly tradition.
