Kate's Birth Day in Estes!

As is a Ward family tradition, we spent Kate's actual birth-day in Estes Park as a family. This is typically a day where we celebrate all of her "firsts"! Her first time in the car seat facing forward and any of her first tastes; eggs, citrus, berries, etc. Just like her big brother Ryan, she passed with flying colors! And, she also got her first taste of a great big lollipop and that seemed to go down just fine! We had breakfast in the morning, swam mid afternoon and then had some treats downtown. We had to be a bit more creative this time of year since we didn't have the summer weather on our side and therefore parks and all sorts of outdoor activites. We were thankful for our YMCA connections as the pool was a ton of fun and we had it to ourselves. That is until Mommy got busted having a regular diaper on Kate instead of a swim one. Once that became more than obvious, we were asked to leave. Thankfully, we were hungry for lunch anyways!

After wrapping up our day in Estes Park, we headed back down the mountain and grabbed dinner at our favorite Loveland restaurant, 3 Margaritas. Kate was about as excited as Ryan was to wear the sombrero!
