On another note, this 4th of July was also bittersweet for us! We had been looking forward to celebrating the weekend with friends and family while also having Baby Kate baptized on Sunday, the 5th. Unfortunately, we received the news that Grandma Helen had passed away that Friday. While it was nice for all of us to be together, we missed her dearly. She was a special lady, for sure, and we hold dear all of the items she sewed and knit for us! That was her speciality and I look forward to sharing those items and stories with Ryan and Kate when they get older. On the fun side of things, Ryan enjoyed spending the weekend with 2 of his favorite cousins, Easton and Reghan. They splashed in the pool, played cars and trucks and ate lots and lots of snacks. Afterall, isn't that what you're supposed to do when you get together!?!

Your children are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! I can't wait to meet them and your hubby in person someday! :) I know our families would have a ball together....
