Flashback Friday

1994...Where it all began! Wow, 15 years ago! How is that even possible. I was 23 and Don was 27. We were young, in love and had no idea where the years were going to take us. And little did we both know I'd be blogging about it all these years later. Don was living in Loveland with 2 friends and I was living in Fort Collins with Mary.(Cut now to Mary and I) Oh, the trouble we got into even then! We spent hours teasing Don about engagement rings, weddings, etc. Mary even posted a little quiz on our front door that in order for Don to get in, he had to "ring" the doorbell by picking the right diamond...or something to that effect. In hindsight, the joke was certainly on us since that coveted proposal came 11 years later! And, yes, I did say 11! Yet, I wouldn't trade any of it. The years that it was just the 2 of us and then Bailey were years I will always treasure! They formed who we are as individuals, as a couple and now as parents!
We are truly blessed!
